A)   Notice on Scam Business Propositions

We have received several queries on contracts allegedly awarded by PETRONAS Gas Berhad to certain individuals and companies, which contain vague, dubious and false information. These alleged contracts bear, among others, PETRONAS Gas Berhad’s name, logo and signatures of individuals who are or claiming to be employees of PETRONAS Gas Berhad. Reports have been lodged to the respective authorities on this matter. 

Please note that PETRONAS Gas Berhad’s employees and clients, either in their official or personal capacity do not have authority whatsoever to receive or pay money, fees, or other benefit, favour or interest from any third party with regard to any of its contracts. If such situation occurs, PETRONAS Gas Berhad appeals to the public not to respond to such requests and to consider reporting the incident to your local law enforcement. This advice also extends to all e-mail, telephone, short message service (SMS) or any forms of communications using PETRONAS Gas Berhad's name in other business propositions.

FURTHERMORE, whilst PETRONAS Gas Berhad empathize with whosoever has lost any money in any of the above instances, PETRONAS Gas Berhad shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever caused by the above misrepresentation or claims in relation to these vague, dubious and false documents.

B)    Notice on Recruitment scams

PETRONAS Gas Berhad would like to advise that those who wish to seek employment with PETRONAS’ Group of Companies, including PETRONAS Gas Berhad  are to visit only PETRONAS’ official on-line talent sourcing or recruitment portal   i.e. www.discoverpetronas.com. 

Please also note that PETRONAS Gas Berhad  does not employ any third-party on-line employment agency therefore,  any official online communication on recruitment  would only be made via  discoverpetronas.com  or petronas.com.my email domains.
